FLEXIBILITY
We are a reliable manufacturer of demanding metal products employing turning, milling and 5-axis machining.
Our production relies on high-quality machine tools manufactured by Mazak, Emco and Doosan. The standardised machine fleet enables efficient operation and maintenance, contributing to a stable production process. 80% of our CNC lathes are connected to bar feeders.
Our organisation and the information system support the manufacture of products meeting high requirements regarding quality and traceability, which are demonstrated by all the necessary documentation. At all times, computerised paperless production provides us with insight into the results of control plan implementation and statistical data on the process.
Close attention is paid to constant and systematic education and training of the employees. Young staff, low staff turnover and good relationships in the team form the basis for even better performance in the future.

In the area of environmental protection, we take into account the principles of environmentally friendly production and ensure the rational use of raw materials, higher productivity and better product quality.
Social Role
We want to contribute to a higher quality of life and therefore support the work of various associations and organizations in the fields of culture, sports and education. We donate mainly to local firefighting associations and to the Handball Society Herz Šmartno. We believe that, with our support, we contribute to the success of the organizations we support, as well as to the quality of life of the communities in which they operate.
HISTORY
Kopit d.o.o. is a family company founded by Alojz Koprivnikar in 1996 in the basement of his house. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Alojz was a technical director for many years and received several awards for innovation and achievements. With his wealth of experience, he is still a valued member of the management team.
In 1999, the construction of a smaller production hall started due to the successful development of the company. After moving to the new location, the purchase of modern processing machines and the development of a modern business system followed. In this period, the company focused on the production of smaller batches of more demanding products.
The increasing volume of work in 2014 resulted in the need for further recruitment, an expanded machine park and larger premises.
Today, the company has 60 employees and 25 machines in an area of 3.000 m².
From the very start, the company’s policy has been aimed at the continuous improvement of the quality of products and services, employee training, creating the best conditions for work, fair long-term cooperation with customers and suppliers, and the introduction of modern organizational methods. All these principles have become part of our company culture and have contributed significantly to the company’s growth.
